Avoid Overview

Avoid Overview is an extensión for Gnome Shell that disables the switch to Overview mode after closing the last window in a virtual desktop.

It simplifies working with icons in the desktop, because when browsing a folder and closing it to go to another icon in the desktop, there's no need to switch again from Overview mode. Of course, it's still possible to enter it using the button in the upper bar, the hotspots or the Windows key.
